چکیده

Oral squamous cell cancer (OSCC) is a primary malignant tumor of the head and neck. Long non-coding RNA susceptibility candidate 2 (CASC2) related to chemoresistance diverse tumors. At present, resistance OSCC first-line chemotherapy drug cisplatin (DDP) still giant problem. Herein, we investigated role mechanism CASC2 in DDP. Expression levels CASC2, miR-31-5p, KANK1 tissues cells were determined by qRT-PCR. The half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) value DDP-resistant apoptosis via CCK-8 or flow cytometry assays. relationship between miR-31-5p was verified with dual-luciferase reporter RIP vivo confirmed xenograft experiments. We observed that CASC2A downregulated while upregulated (p < 0.05). overexpression enhanced DDP sensitivity accelerated vitro Notably, acted as target for miR-31-5p. Also, modulated expression sponging Both introduction-mediated impacts on restored elevation To conclude, boosted upregulating might be potential treatment.

Long non-coding RNA CASC2 suppresses malignancy in human gliomas by miR-21.

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are aberrantly expressed in many diseases including cancer. LncRNA CASC2 (cancer susceptibility candidate 2) has been characterized as a tumor suppressor in endometrial cancer and colorectal cancer. However, the role and function of CASC2 in human gliomas remain unknown. In this study, we confirmed that CASC2 was lowly expressed in glioma tissues as well as in U25...

WP1066 Sensitizes Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma Cells to Cisplatin by Targeting STAT3/miR-21 axis

Accumulating evidence reveals that activation of STAT3 and miR-21 contributes to chemoresistance in multiple tumors. We examined the expression of STAT3 and miR-21 in 43 oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) tumors and classified them into cisplatin sensitive or resistant group. Tca8113 and Tca8113/DDP cells were treated with cisplatin (DDP), WP1066 (STAT3 inhibitor) or in combination. MTT, colon...

LncRNA MEG3 enhances cisplatin sensitivity in non-small cell lung cancer by regulating miR-21-5p/SOX7 axis

Background Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been revealed to play essential role in drug resistance of multiple cancers. LncRNA MEG3 was previously reported to be associated with cisplatin (DDP) resistance in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells. However, the molecular mechanism of MEG3 affecting DDP resistance in NSCLC remains to be further illustrated. In this study, we attempted to dis...

Clinical and in vitro Study of Novel Long Non-Coding RNA lncUSMycN in Breast Cancer Cancer

Background: Despite recent advances in diagnosis and treatment, breast cancer remains a leading cause of death in women worldwide. Long non-coding RNAs are a new class of RNA molecules that have been shown to participate in tumorigenesis. The aim of this study was to investigate the expression of lncUSMycN in tumor samples and to evaluate its potential role in the breast cancer cell line. Metho...

Long non-coding RNA ATB promotes malignancy of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma by regulating miR-200b/Kindlin-2 axis

Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is one of the leading causes of cancer-related death, especially in China. In addition, the prognosis of late stage patients is extremely poor. However, the biological significance of the long non-coding RNA lnc-ATB and its potential role in ESCC remain to be documented. In this study, we investigated the role of lnc-ATB and the underlying mechanism pro...
